Victor: Clerval! I have some news to tell you, I'd really rather not tell you because I know you're going to be in quite some shock! I have used my sciences to come up with a secret that no other scientists have figured out yet. That is artificial life, and as I thought I was going to test out what I have discovered, therefore I did. This didn't turn out so well, I have created a creature that me, myself, am scared of! When I made him I had been terrified just from his looks, I hurried into my room and ended up falling asleep. I had a nightmare and woke up to him hovering over me so the only thing I could think of was to run! I haven't seen him again since and I'm scared to go back there! Please help me you're the only one I've told and I really just don't know what to do! I wasn't trying to cause harm!
Henry: You did what?! How could you create such a harmful creature and bring him alive to this Earth. I can't believe you did this. Especially because you, yourself, is scared of him alone, imagine what harm he could do to this world. How did you even possibly figure out a way to bring life back from the dead? This is crazy, and I can't believe you did it, but you did and it's over with now. All we can do is to try and find a way to possibly find him and take him out of here. We need to search everywhere around your apartment to find him. It is definitely not safe to keep an unknown roaming creature exposed to all of us humans. Do you possibly remember the last time you saw him? Is there any other times that you saw him after you ran from your apartment?
Victor: You don't understand Henry, really! My last intention was to create harm to this world, opposing to that, I was trying to discover something new. It all turned the wrong way and now I'm stuck. I haven't seen him since that day at the apartment, I'm scared to go back I don't know what he could do to me! I was so excited that I had figured out how to bring the dead back alive but now I'm disappointed in myself and have great fear towards him, he's a creature, he's a monster! I would love to take him out of here, that would be the greatest thing, but it would be almost impossible I'm too scared to even go near him imagine trying to get him out. How would we do that? He could hurt both of us so easily, I don't want to get you into any trouble, I got myself into this mess and I have to get myself out. Since you're my best friend, I had to tell you don't tell anyone please I don't want to be known for causing harm to this world. I'm going to try the best I can to get rid of him as fast as possible. How? I don't know, but there has to be a way, and I'm determined to figure it out!
Henry: Victor. I promise you will find a way, and I will help you. I don't care that you are the one who had created this crazy monster, but since you are my best friend I am going to have to help you no matter what. So to get this creature out of this world, we need to first find him. Maybe we can trace tracks and signs of where he had been. Although we don't know what way he went and when he went there, we could easily find that out. I mean, you are a scientist and all. We can see which tracks were the oldest tracks and follow the newer ones. If we can possibly track him down, we need to find the creatures possible weakness and if we can't, we will make them. Now let's do this together, and get rid of this crazy creature.
Victor: Henry, I have done something really bad. I feel so ashamed and I do not know what to do. I have created a monster. I was so wrapped up in science and creating something that was dead to come alive, and didn't even think of mankind. This is horrible and I think my monster is the murderer that killed my brother William. I do not know how to escape this, and you are the only person I told. Please don't tell anyone and make sure you are safe at all times. I don't know who he will target next. He's so ugly and does not deserve to be alive. Oh, what have I done, will you ever forgive me?
Henry: Victor, I'm sure you are probably overreacting. Although, I know when you say it is a serious situation it probably is. If this monster killed your brother, William, by no means is it your fault. This whole thing I'm sure was just a mistake. If you want I will try to help you find him. If he is a murderer, he can't be that hard to find. There must be some evidence that will give away his identity. I will never be angry with you. I don't care if this monster kills me, you are my best friend and there is nothing you can do to make me hate you. There is something I think you need to do. You need to go down to the police station and turn yourself in. If you don't, you may be a refuge for the rest of your life.
Victor: Henry, thank you so much for not judging me and always being my friend. I know you say this is not my fault, but I still feel like I will always have this burden carried on me. I would love if I had someone to help me find the monster, but I really don't want you to get hurt. You are the only friend I have outside of my family. Thank you for always being there for me, but I just really hope we catch him before he catches someone else! I can't go turn myself in though, my family and everyone will know what I have done. They will not look at me the same way. I also need to be out in the world looking for this creature and trying to redeem myself, not locked away in a jail cell. I cannot turn myself in, it would tear my family apart and the creature would kill everyone I love.
Henry: Victor, I completely understand your point of view. You completely proved me wrong about turning yourself in. In some cases it's the right thing to do, but in this case, for the cause of saving lives, you need to find this monster. I know you cannot do this alone though. Please, I insist that I go with you. You will never be able to do it on your own. Wherever you do I want to do with you, because you are also my best friend and I really feel the need to help you out. You have always been there for me, and this is the least I can do. Don't think the way you're thinking. You have to believe that people will forgive you. If your family really loves you, they will forgive you for this impulsive decision that is beginning to ruin your life and your character.
Victor: There is a problem I’ve been continuing to have. I know who the murderer is; the town has wrongly convicted Justine of the murder of William, the innocent little boy fallen in the woods with a large fingerprint planted on him. I’ve been thinking if I should tell you this or not. I insist that you keep reading for perhaps you may help me with the situation. I have created a monster meant to be harmless, but isn’t. My fairest judgment of uncertainty is greater than what most believe. It is my monster that killed William, and I can account for the murder.
Henry: I shall keep this entire secret and not allow anyone else the chance to read your letters. I am here for you in any way possible to help with your continuing problem. What type monster have you created that may display so much violent acts towards people? Do not take any blame but for creating the monster. The monsters actions are not like your actions and you cannot change what “it” does. Go find the monster before it goes around causing disasters. If you do not stop the monster horrible things may come of it, and once people find out the monster belongs to you they will blame you for everything. Victor, you will remain feeling this regret until you take care of the monster once and for all. Once you get rid of it, there will be no more unhappy feelings.
Victor: Thank you for disclosing the secret. Although I do not have any idea where he is, he may continue to forbid disasters on the town of Geneva, and possibly the rest of world. I must continue on an expedition to the next disaster before it happens. The monster has no business with anyone except for me, so I shall settle this when the time comes. I must be held accountable for the actions because I created the monster and never helped him with anything. I am a horrible person. I hope everyone forgives me for the wretched thing I did. I was only trying to help the science of life for the rest of the world. My feelings of regret are enormously confused. Thank you, my friend, for disconcerting my actions of dishonor.
Henry: Even if your monster will not do anymore damage because of you, make sure you concede yourself in a manor that no one person knows about your plan. Please Victor, conduct yourself greatly with no guilt so your life will not be ruined or filled with antagonism. I am here for you when you need to vent to someone or something. I am your friend that can trust with all of your problems and issues. You shouldn’t have this pain because a monster is destroying things and people that you love. I cannot help you enough with whatever you need because I am your friend. Come visit me any time and I’ll be there for you.
